Glam Rockers Back On The Road!

Glam rock stalwarts Extreme are back on the road this year, after releasing their long anticipated sixth studio album, Six, in 2023 - their first record in 15 years! With an almost four-decade long career, the band have a lasting legacy of helping to keep the glam rock and hair metal genres in the mainstream well into the 90s when Britpop and Grunge threatened to bring the curtain down. Their platinum selling 1990 record Pornograffiti was named as the 13th greatest hair metal album of all time by Rolling Stone.

Forming in 1985, Extreme released four albums between 1989-1995 and were regulars in the Billboard charts, while their line-up has at times included some of the biggest names in rock, including Dream Theater and Steve Vai drummer Mike Mangini. Winding down for a while when singer Gary Cherone joined one of the most successful rock bands in history, Van Halen, they have sporadically reformed for tours and recordings since the mid-2000s.
