I feel like I was misled by all the reviews and the hype. I went with my daughter and young granddaughter. We paid a lot of money for the tickets but that was fine because we were led to believe this was going to be an amazing experience. It was not! It was political and lack luster......I would equate it to an advanced gymnastics recital. We were ready to leave by intermission......I was so disappointed and honestly feel a little like I was scammed. What I saw on YouTube was far better than what I saw at the theater.

TERRIBLE WASTE OF MONEY
Saw this last night in St Petersburg, Fl. Left at intermission. Spent $240 for 2 tickets for my wife & I and it was the BIGGEST waste of money I have ever spent. Dance was nice and colorful but a total snooze. Don't let their ads trap you. Great marketing but a way over priced waste of time. It might have been ok if it paid $25 a ticket, not $120! Just synchronized dance in bright colored clothing. Had a soloist that sang and absolutely sounded like nails on a chalkboard. Be cautious of these 5 star reviews. Sound contrived to me.....

Have watched commercial for years always wanted to go spent 300 for 2 seats was totally disappointed. Glad I didn't bring family of 11 felt like I saved alot of money. Do not go to this RIP-off production waste of time.

DOESN'T DESERVE 1 STAR
We saw this show at the Q E last year and were shocked to discover that it was mediocre at best. Fortunately we did not buy the most expensive seats but if someone were to give us tickets for the 2020 performances we wouldn't use them!. Many in the audience were not interested in the show and there was forced clapping. We had the impression that they were made to attend out of a sense of duty ~ a different kind of captive audience. The young man in front of us slept through it and he didn't appear to be someone who had money to burn. The whole experience was bizarre and we have been telling everyone we know not to go.

WHAT A SCAM!
What a scam! We spend over $500 on 3 tickets to see immature dance recital. I wood not not even go for free, because all 3 hours was a complete torture. Please do not fall into beauty of their commercial. It is totally misrepresentations, full of political propaganda, horrible singing, and immature story telling. Also, there is no way to live Google review. It took me several pages of searching to leave this review. We attended this show at Ordway theater, St. Paul, Mn

SHEN-YUN... QI-GONG MEETS TELEVANGELISM!
Deceptive and manipulative marketing practices for a very expensive show with only mediocre performances that push a religious/political agenda with extreme religious right values under the guise of some nebulous Eastern meditative philosophy... the first tenet of Falun Dafa is truthfulness. HA!

POLITICAL MISLEADING BUDDHIST FALUN DAFA/GONG ADVERTISEMENT
I understand why they didn't advertise that this was a play advertising the Falun Gong or Falun Dafa religion, a Chinese Cult from the 1990's. If they had, they wouldn't have been able to sell a single ticket in the US. The dances portrayed people being healed by touching the Dafa book (their bible), persecution from the Chinese government, etc. After 2 dances, you've seen it all. Tell me I'm going to a religious show and let us make the choice as to whether to buy tickets. Don't disappoint the audience by misleading us. We left at intermission, as did several others. These guys are very talented athletes and it was very colorful, but after 2 dances, you've seen everything there is to see. Buyer Beware!!
