SHEN YUN- DON'T GO
This is the biggest waste of time and money. After ten minutes I was tired of floaty dresses, baggy arms and gliding walks. After 15 minutes the 3D screens with scenery seemed boring. There was precious little acrobatics or skill. I nearly left after the first half. To top it off they force fed us Falun Gong propaganda and politics and moral teachings at the end. Boring as hell. Expensive, Overhyped and pure rubbish. There is no option to give something minus stars in the rating on this site - or i would have.

WORST SHOW EVER
From organ harvesting to Chairman Mao dancing in a sea of fair to middling dancers hosted by mc’s that at first glance might be robots. This show astonished with its levels of terribleness. No Chinese cultural history, just choppy segments of non compelling dancing with the occasional propaganda thrown in, insert organ harvesting or Chairman Mao dancing angrily. If it was meant to be a joke it’s just not funny it’s frightening and these people continue to bilk $22 million a year from fools like me.

SHEN YUN VANCOUVER
Seen it last year, spent hotel rooms, food, and over priced tickets for the biggest joke ever. Costumes pretty sure, but boring, no talent dancers, same step over and over, and just a bunch of religion and crap thrown in.Do Not waste you money, not worth $10 and will never see again. I have raised my daughters in dance world and this is just a joke. wish I would of read reviews other then their website I have learned my lesson and it only cost me $1000.

CHINESE MARKETING SCAM
A few days ago I went to Shen Yun's performance at the RAI in Amsterdam with high expectations. I was VERY disappointed. The clothing was boring, the dance was exactly the same every time and the singers were horrible. Please, I advise you not to go. You'll end up wasting your money and won't even have had a decent experience. As you can see the chinese are good at marketing, but bad at the actual deal. I'm totally not surprised China didn't allow a dance group like this in their country.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
Spent over 700$ for 3 tickets. Total snooze fest. Couldn't stop looking at my watch. Whenever they started a new act I thought, "Oh God, not again." There was nothing engaging about these acts/dances. I think I saw 5 flips. If there was a story involved I still have no idea what it could have been. Bottom line, marketing was incredible. I couldn't leave the house without hearing about it or seeing the ads so I gave in and bought floor tickets. I fell for it. Total propaganda. This show is a a cure for insomnia. WHAT a disappointment.

I saw it in Aurora - Chicago in 2018 and I was Disappointed. Advertisement is deceiving. The first time I saw a lot of people leave the show even though they paid over $100. Dances were repetitive and singing was not good. Also it was all propaganda for their religious cult. It was 6 of us and we were all disappointed. A prefect example of deceiving advertisement.
